These terms apply to booking via the internet or by phone. We reserve the right to vary our terms and conditions at any time, but in respect of any booking, the terms and conditions which apply shall be those which you accepted when you make your booking.

Activities go ahead unless the weather is deemed unsafe: e.g. storms, lightning, icy conditions, torrential rain. Please dress appropriately for outdoor activities and the weather. In the event that Really Rural needs to cancel we will attempt to contact the activity organiser provided that we have the correct contact details.
The Client should inform all attending the activity that appropriate clothing and footwear for activities in the woods are essential. Really Rural recommends:-
- Sturdy boots, wellies or old trainers: NOT sandals
- Tough clothing that you won’t mind getting a bit dirty – especially for bushcraft events!
- A waterproof jacket or anorak if rain is at all likely
- Warm clothes and a warm hat & gloves
Really Rural is not liable for any losses or damage to personal clothing, footwear or effects.
Please Note: People may be prevented from taking part in Activities/Courses if Really Rural considers them to be inappropriately dressed for the weather/conditions.
Safety equipment provided by Really Rural must be worn.
Really Rural want your party to be an enjoyable experience. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure the good behaviour of all attending. Unruly and out of control behaviour may lead to the cancellation of the activity with Really Rural, or the removal of the individual(s) from the activity. In such cases a refund will not be given. Really Rural will not be held liable or responsible for the actions of individuals. We ask politely that you be on-time for your activity, we are not able to wait or extend the time of your activity session to cover late arrivals. We are fully booked most days, and have to be fair to both our staff and people who have the activity session following yours.
Clients should be aware of any special medical needs of those attending the activity (e.g. asthma inhalers, epipens etc); and that you – the Client – are able to cater adequately for those needs. Really Rural staff carry a basic 1st Aid kit on all activities. We would also suggest that if people have cuts and grazes on exposed skin, to have them covered.
Cancellations & Variations to Activity Programme
Should an activity/course have to be cancelled by Really Rural due to unforeseen circumstances such as staff illness, extreme weather, it will be re-arranged for another day or a refund given. Really Rural reserves the right to alter a planned programme or cancel an activity/course due to the unreasonable behaviour by the Client (includes non arrival, very late arrival or suspected of being under the influence of alcohol /drugs ). Really Rural may consider other reasons. In such instances any payment by the Client will be forfeit, without further recourse to, or liablity upon Really Rural.
Cancellation by the CLient
